Week 1 Challenge: Exercise for a minimum of 15 minutes every day
This week’s challenge is to exercise a minimum of 15 minutes per day. Whether it be running, walking, swimming, sports, playing your Wii or Kinect – it doesn’t matter. The point is to push yourself beyond your usual limits and accept no excuses for not doing it. If it’s too hot or raining out, do something indoors. If you had kids, get them involved. If you have to work late, spread out the 15 minutes into 5 minute increments throughout the day. If you have just too much to do, push something off that isn’t necessary to just get in those 15 minutes of exercise.
It’s just that easy.
Taking 105 minutes out of your 10,080 minute week really isn’t that much time, is it?
This week I’ll be focusing on walking for the most part as it’s one of the most relaxing things for me to do and I tend to do it with my husband and our beagle Meg. I always find a reason not to do it though and I think forcing myself to put an end to those excuses, even for a week, will remind me why I enjoy doing it so much.

I don't know, but I'm the same way!
I almost feel like this is cheating for me hee hee! Every day I walk from Grand Central station to my office which is roughly a 10 minute walk, I do this twice a day and mind you, it's my city walk so it's pretty fast. I'll try not to count that thought. :) I have been exercising in the mornings before I get dressed, a little bit of yoga and do a few curls with my weights so I'll amp that up.
I love this challenge! I sometimes give up on my workout knowing I can't get a full hour in so I need to remember I can split it up- it all adds up! Thanks for this:-)
I am starting today and I just did 15 minutes of zumba..that was fun..I am up for the challenge..
