Human & Dog Treats: PBB Yogurt Bites Recipe

These are by far one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had. Most likely because of how easy they are. And how many variations of them I intend to make. And the fact that I can share them with my dogs because it’s a really healthy treat for them.

Peanut Butter and Banana Yogurt Bites

yields: 24 if using small cupcake wrappers

  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter

  1. Slice the banana and put into blender or a bowl to use with a hand mixer
  2. Add the 2 cups of yogurt
  3. Add the 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  4. Blend until thoroughly mixed
  5. Pour into molds or use cupcake wrappers. We used the tiny cupcake wrappers for bite-sized treats.
  6. Freeze overnight.

Ta-da! Super easy and incredibly delicious. Great for dessert, breakfast, or in our case desserts to share with our puppies. We plan to make some variations of this that are not so dog friendly with chocolate and various fruits with how simple it is so I’ll be sure to post the other kinds when we do!

  10. I have a question to ask, if i may? peanut-butter, yogurt and bananas — they’re all relatively “soft” ingredients, I would think. After freezing overnight, can we defrost them on the counter and treat them like “normal” mini-muffins? or do they constantly need to be refrigerated? Thanks!
