Kicking The Habit: Week 1

Last week’s goals:

  • No eating after 7:00pm – 100% success
  • 8 cups of water a day - Total fail
  • 3 cups of fruits/veggies – Mostly fail
  • Walk/run a total of 7 miles per week - Total fail
  • Sleep from 10:30pm to 5:30am – 100% success
  • Protein/vegetable heavy dinners, lighter breakfasts and lunches – 100% success
  • Kinect workout – 30 minutes 3x a week – It’s a tie! (I exercised outside instead)

Thoughts on the past week: Yikes. That’s not pretty at all. My sleeping habits seem to be in check and my snacking has been curbed, but exercise and healthy eating? Apparently I forgot what those were during the week. I labeled them as total fails because I honestly did not think twice about most of these items after writing the post. We spent most of our weekend outside in a park or walking through a museum/tour of some sort so I definitely got my exercise in despite the fact that the Kinect was not turned on once.

Weight change for the week: Loss of 1.4 pounds, down to 152.6

This week’s goals:

  • Start the Couch to 5k Treadmill version {Anyone else willing to start with me? I’d love an exercise buddy!}
  • 8 cups of water a day
  • 3 cups of fruits/veggies a day

Thoughts on the upcoming week: I skipped the things I had 100% success with as I’m having no issues with them still. I changed my fitness goals and drastically reduced the amount of goals for this week because I’m still sick and I’m going to be swamped with end of term homework. My hope is that I can gain some smaller accomplishments and then move forward with new/harder goals.

I decided to make this into a link up so feel free to grab the button below, link-up your posts, and build a wonderful supportive community around KTH! Posts can be linked up any day of the week – doesn’t matter. And there are no specific requirements as to how you create your post/what your goals are. Make it work for you!
