When I took away all of the features on the blog in hopes to simplify life and make sure that I was blogging how I wanted, I knew that wasn’t the only area in my life that I needed to make some changes. I knew I needed to have a bit of a life overhaul and I found some of the best inspiration on what I wanted to change when I was laying on the beach in Mexico. It inspired me to create a 52 things in 2012 list, which includes a laundry list of items that I want to A) change about myself or my life B) learn C) or simply complete in the next year.
I’m more accountable with my goals when I share them with people so I thought I’d post the list on my blog and also give you a glimpse of what the future holds for me, my business, and the blog. I’m really excited about all of these things and cannot wait to blog about my progress.

This is such a great idea and I love your lists. I have 3 or 4 main goals for 2012 but I love the idea of 52 smaller ones. If you don't mind I might borrow the idea and blog about it in the New Year? Enjoy the holidays and I hope 2012 brings you everything you wish for and more xx
Definitely! Let me know if you do it – I'd love to see your list. :)
#19, Wisconsin has to offer alot, granted not this time of year aka snow. But still! Great list!

Great list. I did one too but had only 12 goals so not to overwhelm myself.
Good for you! I think knowing your limits is a good thing for setting new goals :)
I am working on a list for myself right now! LOL It's still not finished but I hope to get it done today =P Good luck with your list! I love a lot of the things on it

Awesome list. Vacations are so excellent for refocusing and listing out what you really want to do with yourself.
#21 "grow my hair out" is on my list too! And, will probably be on my list for the next 5 years since my hair doesn't grow fast like everyone elses, haha. Great list! Very fun idea.
PS – Thanks for the giveaway on the 500 business cards! They are all ready to ship and I cannot wait until I get them!
Thank you!

Something 2 Write About
Mine grows super slow too! I hate it. I'm trying so hard not to cut it, but it's tough! And so glad you won! :)
I LOVE this list. :) My favorites are numbers 4, 15, 16, 28, and 51. :)
What a wonderful list!!
I always get a little bit too carried away when I start these kinds of lists. I guess I should go for 52, too. I hope you have the time and power to complete everything on this list and I look forward to reading about how you're doing!
xo
I could have easily kept going, but I decided I'd stick to this and if I have time for more later in the year? Great. :]
Wow! This is really inspiring! May have to do this!!

Let me know if you do. :)
LOVE the idea of writing letters to future you! I’m totally inspired to do the same! Happy New Year!
I'm nervous about them, haha. I'm excited, but I'm hoping I write something worth while in them!
Ashley, you have inspired me to make my own lists! And because you have really good ones, I may have to steal a few ;)
Can't wait to read about your accomplishments throughout the year! Until then, Merry Christmas :)

Go for it! Would love to see your list when you're done :]
Wow, that's funny! I just started my project, 52 weeks 25, on my 25th birthday last november. I wanted to stop letting time and life pass by without notice, so now I push myself to a challenge or something new every week! If you want to follow the blog : http://52weeks25.wordpress.com !
I had a great time so far, it gives me motivation and inspiration, so I wish you luck on your challenges and I know you are in for a nice ride in 2012! Go for it!

I feel that it's worth nothing that you can't "spot" lose weight. Toning your abs and thighs would be gaining muscle. What you need to do is cut out inflammatory foods and lose any extra weight through overall body workouts. Targeting a specific area with exercises is only a good idea if you're doing physical therapy, and even then, not that much!
These are wonderful! I can't believe you live in Green Bay (at least for now)- I'm in Appleton and I never find cool blogs by fellow NEWisconsinites. :P Good luck with your 2012 resolutions.
Love this idea! I do have a list only not as many items on that list :)
