52 in 2012 List

When I took away all of the features on the blog in hopes to simplify life and make sure that I was blogging how I wanted, I knew that wasn’t the only area in my life that I needed to make some changes. I knew I needed to have a bit of a life overhaul and I found some of the best inspiration on what I wanted to change when I was laying on the beach in Mexico. It inspired me to create a 52 things in 2012 list, which includes a laundry list of items that I want to A) change about myself or my life B) learn C) or simply complete in the next year.

I’m more accountable with my goals when I share them with people so I thought I’d post the list on my blog and also give you a glimpse of what the future holds for me, my business, and the blog. I’m really excited about all of these things and cannot wait to blog about my progress.

  1. Learn Spanish
  2. Fully learn Buddhism
  3. Launch coaching website
  4. Get prepared to move to Florida
  5. Start my last term of school
  6. Downsize to fit in a house without a basement
  7. Get down to 140lbs
  8. Tone my thighs
  9. Tone my stomach
  10. Visit Florida
  11. Have a no electronics day at least 1x a week
  12. Go camping at least 1x
  13. Go canoeing at least 1x
  14. Take new pictures for all shop products
  15. Launch new product line in January
  16. Organize the office
  17. Make 52 new desserts
  18. Make 52 new recipes
  19. See what Wisconsin has to offer before we move
  20. Stop depending on food or shopping to be happy at times
  21. Grow my hair out
  22. Organize photos from Jamaica
  23. Organize photos from Mexico
  24. Scrapbook photos from Jamaica
  25. Scrapbook photos from Mexico
  26. Make 26 new drinks
  27. Figure out what I want to do with my life
  28. Spend 2 nights a week without Internet
  29. Take a picture a day
  30. Start an online yard sale
  31. Have a regular yard sale
  32. Sell our vintage items
  33. Organize my crafts
  34. Get rid of negative influences
  35. Fully learn to sew
  36. Learn geography
  37. Visit all parks in Brown and Door County
  38. Stop comparing myself to others
  39. Read at least 12 books
  40. Stop working after 6pm every night
  41. Find a way to enjoy exercise until we are closer to the beach
  42. Try to limit eating out to 2-3 times a month
  43. Put $400 in savings each month
  44. Write a letter to myself to open in one year
  45. Write a letter to myself to open in five years
  46. Write a letter to myself to open in ten years
  47. Answer the 50 Questions to Free Your Mind (here)
  48. Add planners to my shop’s product line
  49. Learn what it means to truly blog for myself
  50. Write at least 5 more e-books
  51. Get another tattoo
  52. Go vegan for a week
