The Perfect Gift

Thank you to Ubisoft for sponsoring this post. Please visit Amazon.com to get your own copy of Assassin’s Creed 3, today’s Gold Box Deal of the Day! I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective. All opinions are my own.

It’s that time of year where you’re scrambling to finish (or maybe even start) your Christmas shopping, ready to bang your head against the wall for the perfect gift for your loved ones. And while it may be the thought that counts, I’m usually frustrated by the end of my Christmas shopping escapades because I’m worried I didn’t find the perfect gifts. But this year? I’m prepared. At least for my husband

Assassin’s Creed 3 pretty much fits the bill for the perfect gift for my husband (and me if I’m looking to carve out some alone time.)

Video game? Check.

Weapons and explosives? Check.

Military history? Check.

Crazy awesome discount today at Amazon as a Gold Box Deal of the Day? Discount double-check. I’ve been waiting SO long to add that into a check-list post. For those that  aren’t surrounded by Aaron Rodgers/Packer fanboys/girls all the time, check out the commercials to see why it’s too good not to use.

Anyways. Back to the reason for this post and the reason why I’m happy my Christmas shopping is nearly done. Nathan’s played all of the other Assassin’s Creed games and this game sounds like it’s pretty much the perfect fit for him. A closer look at the game per Amazon: The American Colonies, 1775. It’s a time of civil unrest and political upheaval in the Americas. As a Native American assassin fights to protect his land and his people, he will ignite the flames of a young nation’s revolution. Assassin’s Creed III takes you back to the American Revolutionary War, but not the one you’ve read about in history books.

There’s no doubt in my mind that it will be the perfect gift this holiday season. You can bet I already added this to the gifts Nathan is getting this year and if he reads this, I’m banking on him still acting surprised when he unwraps it. So if you’re still looking for a gift for your husband/boyfriend/nephew/or even video-game loving girl friend, head over to Amazon today and check it out! You’ll save a pretty big chunk of cash and walk away with a gift they’re sure to love.

And if you want to try your luck at winning a copy, follow me on Twitter and watch for the tweet to RT to win the game later on today!
