Bloggy Conference 13′ . . . Here We Come!

On Monday, I mentioned that we’re officially going to Bloggy Conference 2013 at Cedar Point. To say I’m excited is pretty much the biggest understatement ever.

I’ve always been on the fence about blogging conferences, wondering if I would really learn enough to justify the cost. Or if I would truly make long lasting relationships from it. On top of that, the midwest is far from the blog conference mecca of the US so I’ve always had to weigh the traveling costs + being away from the business for more than a day or two. But if you put in within driving distance, offer it at a reasonable cost, AND have it located at one of the places I have always wanted to go to - I’m pretty much guaranteed to say yes.

Not only am I going to say yes, but I’m going to convince Nathan to go and make an extended trip out of it to really be able to enjoy Cedar Point and what it has to offer. So September 13-15, we’ll be there – probably on one, if not all, of those rides and  soaking up as much blogging knowledge as we can. And even though we want to move to Florida this year, I figure we’ll make it work – no matter what. I know this will be a great opportunity for me and will be the perfect motivational tool for a few things Nathan and I have lined up this year.

That being said, if you have any tips on going to a blog conference - please share!  Any advice is greatly appreciated as I’m pretty much clueless on what to expect. And if you decide to go, let me know! I’d love to meet-up and give you a peek at the weirdness behind the blog.
